🎵Walking, Walking, Walking Now 🎵

This is the tune that is stuck in my head right now because of Parker’s toy walker. Every time he pushes the toy, it starts singing. The song is stuck in my head all day long. Parker is not walking yet, but he’s getting so close. Walking is such a simple task once it is learned. I don’t even think about it, I just do it because I’ve been doing it for so long. You could say that I am a master at walking, but then I remember that I once learned the skill just as my baby is learning the skill walking.
He reminds me of a time back in 2006 when I was renovating my home. I was a beginner at the time and I decided that I wanted to put in hardwood floors myself. I found a great deal on craigslist from someone who had extra hardwood flooring. I drove my Volvo to his house and purchased the brand new hardwood floor at a deep discount. This was the simple kind of hardwood floor that you just snapped into place all I needed to do was to cut the pieces to fit…

I borrowed a chopsaw, not knowing about the tool or the blades, and got to work cutting the wood. It’s a good thing I got that flooring for cheap, because I made so many mistakes chipping the wood and having to throw out the pieces that were damaged. Little did I know that the blade was very dull and was causing the wood to chip off as I cut it. Luckily, the flooring went in well and I figured out how to piece it together. The improvement of the hardwood floor versus the old linoleum floor was a huge transformation. The flooring looked great.
